Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. Her first employment was with the Real Estate Industry. She met Tarek Al Moussa while working in the industry of real estate. The couple was very successful prior to the 2008 stock market crash when many real estate developers and house flippers collapsed. Tarek El Moussa almost eliminated due to the 2008 market crash. Their house was valued at $750 per week, which was a far cry to the $6,000 they had been paying per month for their house. They gradually rebuilt their business and their economy. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted an acquaintance to create the audition tapes for HGTV featuring Christina reflipping properties starting from scratch. Pie Town Productions' executives took possession of the tape. The executives were in love with Tarek and Christina. In 2012, the couple signed an agreement with HGTV. The program "Flip of Flop" began its run on the 13th of April, 2013. From 2013 to 2017, 92 episodes were shown over seven seasons. The series featured Christina and Tarek buying properties in Orange County. They would invest weeks in transforming the homes so that they could sell them for the profit. Tarek does the deconstruction and remodeling while Christina is focused on designing and making sure that the project is on time.
